The Idealistic School

Schools is a place where a kid should feel safe and comfortable in, it should be a welcoming environment for everyone and a stress-free "zone". Instead schools, at least nowadays, have been a major factor of stress and anxiety for many students to the extent that many of them dread coming to school solely based on that purpose, in an idealistic school I believe that there should be a less strict approach to students and more of a comfortable and warming setting. The food in schools also should have a little more flavor added to them due to the very stale and bad taste that causes many to even throw away their lunch and are left hungry for the rest of the day. The grades shouldn't be the only factor that affects a students so called "knowledge". There needs to be more of a variety of what classes a student can take and there shouldn't be a set requirement due to different interest people have. There should be a better curriculum in meaning that a students isn't totally focused on getting a good grade just so they pass, but instead actually learn the material and are more educated. Focusing on a simple grade doesn't leave any knowledge of the topic in your memory and the sole purpose of a student taking that class now isn't about learning but more about passing. In my opinion the government should put in more funds into schools to really improve and better the educational program.
