There are many types of writing styles that people use like rhetorical, synthesis, argument, etc. Satire is one of them, but there's a little bit of a twist to it. Satire has its unique sense if style, when writing in satire the writer’s goal is to criticize real problems happening in the world and make it almost humorous and sarcastic. The only problem with this writing style is the fact that not everybody might catch onto the fact that the article is not actually serious and might get offended. Satire doesn’t necessarily have to be written, videos are also made in representation of a real cause/ problem in the world then turned into a humorous and not serious discussion. This can be an effective method due to the fact that criticism is approached through humor, which can make matters better for people who either didn’t catch on or are approaching the topic very seriously. The American Dream and the book "The Great Gatsby" have many similarities between them like for example the perfect life that everyone strives for and wants, the idea that you have to be rich to be happy and start your own family. Daisy and Tom Buchanan had it all, they had their own family and were insanely rich with a really nice house so one would consider that they are living to their fullest and are completely fitting into the American Dream. This however isn't true from the side it may seem so yet they were a very unfortunate family due to the lack of love between each other, Tom was cheating on Daisy, Pammy was shy of her mother because she barely ever spends time with her, and Daisy learned how to cope with being alone and emotionless, that is not what people want to happen with their lives.
